Overview
Primarily remote role in Japan leading cloud and AI solution proposals, architecture and proofs of concept.
Responsibilities
- Partner with sales to translate customer needs into cloud or AI solutions and a clear value case
- Create proposals, architecture diagrams, RFP or RFQ responses and customer presentations
- Lead proofs of concept and solution design across Azure, AI Foundry, hybrid cloud and analytics
- Design deployment architecture for IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, microservices and serverless solutions
- Support opportunity development through close and technical handover to delivery teams
Requirements
- 8+ years across cloud IT with architecture experience spanning at least two technical disciplines
- Experience designing, deploying and operating large-scale applications on Azure
- Understanding of cloud cost, security, integration and optimisation
- Excellent client engagement, consulting, presentation and written-communication skills
- Business Japanese and professional English; the role is primarily remote in Japan, with domestic travel when needed for client meetings or proofs of concept
