3. Information and purposes

We use information submitted through forms, email, application documents or directly by you only as needed to:

• answer enquiries and send requested materials
• understand employer requirements, source candidates, coordinate selection and provide talent or project services
• review candidate experience and preferences, match roles, provide career support and send relevant role alerts
• present candidate information to a hiring organisation when the candidate applies or otherwise consents
• protect the site and services, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations

4. Third parties and overseas handling

We do not disclose personal data to unrelated third parties outside these purposes unless you consent, disclosure is required by law, or another statutory exception applies. Candidate information is presented to a hiring organisation only with consent that identifies the destination and purpose.

For assignments involving Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Korea, relevant hiring organisations, Tech Alliance group entities or contracted processors may handle data outside Japan. We limit the recipient, purpose and data to what is necessary and apply consent, contractual safeguards and other measures required by applicable law.

5. Service providers

We may use carefully selected providers for email, cloud storage, website operations, application management and related support. Contracts or equivalent controls require confidentiality, purpose limitation, security and appropriate oversight of any subprocessors.

6. Access and other requests

Subject to applicable law, you may request notice of purpose, access, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, erasure, suspension of third-party disclosure and disclosure of third-party provision records. Email info@tacjob.com with the subject “Personal information request”. We will verify identity and respond within a reasonable period.

7. Voluntary provision

Providing information is voluntary. If information needed to answer or provide a service is omitted, we may be unable to respond, match a role or process an application.

8. Information collected automatically

For first-party site statistics, we record page path, language, referring-site domain, device category, usage events and a random identifier for the current browser tab, without analytics cookies or full IP-address storage. If you allow optional analytics, Google Analytics uses cookies and receives page views and limited enquiry events. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, CVs, form messages or chat text to Google Analytics. Advertising features are disabled. You can decline or withdraw via Analytics preferences in the footer without affecting enquiries or applications. Google processes analytics data on its infrastructure, which may be outside your country. Your consent choice is stored locally for up to six months. A first-party preference cookie (up to 90 days) is used only to exclude opted-out internal/team devices from statistics; it is not an analytics identifier.

9. Retention and security

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the stated purposes, the relationship, legal retention duties or dispute handling, then securely delete or anonymise it. We use access controls, protected transmission, activity records, backups and other measures proportionate to risk.
