Public Notice on Purposes of Use of Personal Information
Tech Alliance Co., Ltd. (a.k.a. TAC TOKYO; hereinafter referred to as "the Company") hereby announces, pursuant to Article 21, Paragraph 1 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and JIS Q 15001:2017 Annex A.3.4.2.4, that personal information will be used within the scope of the purposes described below.
(1) Purposes of use when personal information is obtained directly from the individual in writing (including via website, email, etc.).

6. Procedures for Requests for Disclosure, etc.
If you wish to make a "Request for Disclosure, etc." regarding your personal data, please contact the Inquiry Desk for Personal Information mentioned above. We will provide an explanation of the necessary procedures and send you the required application forms.
7. Measures Taken for the Security Management of Retained Personal Data
The Company has established regulations regarding the handling of personal information and specific personal information, as well as regulations concerning security measures, and implements the following:
(1) Organisational Security Control Measures
- Policy Establishment: We have established policies regarding the handling of personal information, disseminated throughout the Company as our "Personal Information Protection Policy" and made available to the public on our website.
- Handling Procedures: We define procedures for each stage of the data lifecycle — acquisition, use, storage, provision, and deletion/disposal — including handling methods and the roles and responsibilities of managers and personnel, compiled into internal regulations for all employees.
- Inspections and Audits: We conduct regular self-assessments and periodic internal audits by other departments or external parties from an impartial standpoint.
- Access Control: We strictly limit the number of employees authorised to handle personal information.
(2) Personnel Security Control Measures
- Employee Training: We conduct regular training on key points and precautions when handling personal information.
- Confidentiality Agreements: We obtain written pledges from all employees regarding confidentiality.
(3) Physical and Technical Security Control Measures
- Area Access Control: We restrict areas where personal information is handled to prevent unauthorised viewing.
- Entry/Exit Management: We manage entry and exit for employees in such areas and restrict devices brought in.
- Secure Storage: Personal information is stored in lockable cabinets or on servers with strictly controlled access.
- Network Security: We use firewalls and other measures to prevent unauthorised external access to our servers.
- Anti-malware Measures: We implement measures against malicious software such as computer viruses.
- Secure Data Transfer: For physical media we use methods with delivery records or direct hand-to-hand delivery; for electronic data we apply leakage-prevention measures such as encryption.
(4) Understanding the External Environment
- When outsourcing the handling of personal information, we confirm secure handling by understanding the relevant personal information protection systems and reviewing contracts, terms of service and user agreements.
