Overview
Tokyo opportunity leading procurement architecture for a long-term global manufacturing rollout. Focus on Japan localisation, template governance and delivery through implementation teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead Japan rollout discovery, fit-to-standard workshops and solution design within a global SAP S/4HANA template.
- Design procurement, inventory and invoice processes, including sourcing, STO, subcontracting, consignment, valuation and EDI interfaces.
- Own module architecture, localisation and design deviations; align integration with SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Guide implementation teams through build, test, cutover and go-live, working with Japanese stakeholders and global process owners.
Requirements
- 15+ years of SAP experience with substantial SAP S/4HANA transformation, implementation and support experience.
- Deep MM/P2P expertise, functional specifications, ABAP coordination and MM/EWM integration with third-party systems.
- Large-scale manufacturing or automotive experience; strong global-template governance and multi-vendor delivery skills.
- Native-level Japanese speaking proficiency for architecture workshops and senior stakeholder discussions. English proficiency is preferred.
- Multi-country template rollouts, Japanese OEM or Tier 1 supplier experience, and relevant SAP certification are advantageous.
