Overview
Tokyo-based senior full-stack role requiring 5+ years of software development experience, business-level Japanese and working English. Salary is up to JPY 8 million.
Responsibilities
- Own the design, development and maintenance of web applications across frontend and backend
- Build APIs and server-side capabilities with one or more of Python, Node.js, .NET and Next.js
- Develop usable, maintainable interfaces with React, Angular or Vue.js
- Work with product, design, QA and engineering colleagues to turn requirements into reliable releases
- Improve quality through code review, testing, troubleshooting and performance optimisation
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a track record in full-stack delivery
- Backend experience with at least one of Python, Node.js, .NET or Next.js
- Frontend experience with at least one of React, Angular or Vue.js
- Business-level Japanese for meetings, requirements discussions and day-to-day collaboration; native Japanese is not required
- Working English for technical information and professional communication
