Overview

Tokyo-based leadership role shaping new medical-imaging software engagements, proposals and delivery coordination between customers and distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Clarify customer workflows, use cases and technical pain points and define project scope and solution direction
• Prepare proposals, technical specifications, effort estimates and delivery plans with distributed engineering teams
• Lead architecture and development decisions across PACS, medical image viewers and modality software
• Act as a seed member during project initiation and continue as a technical bridge when the engagement requires it
• Manage quality, risk, dependencies and stakeholder alignment across multiple parallel engagements
• Identify technical value opportunities in customer discussions and propose practical improvements or new services

Requirements

• 7+ years in software development, technical project management or an equivalent technical leadership role
• Hands-on medical or healthcare software domain experience is mandatory
• Expertise in at least one of PACS, medical image viewers or modality software
• Strong client-facing requirement analysis, solution design and distributed or offshore team-management experience
• Ability to discuss software architecture, SDLC, estimation, quality and delivery risk with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Business Japanese at JLPT N1-equivalent speaking level and professional English; applicants are assessed on capability, not nationality, and should be open to domestic travel
