Overview
HRBP covering both recruiting and HR/labour administration at a foreign-affiliated video game commerce and payments platform (bilingual Japanese/English).
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end recruiting process, from workforce planning through interviews to offer
- Manage HR and labour administration, including work rules and internal HR policies
- Liaise and report directly with global HQ
- Handle employee labour-related queries and ensure internal policies are well understood
- Design and deliver onboarding programmes
- Manage and analyse HR data and report to leadership
Requirements
- Business-level Japanese and English (daily communication with global HQ required)
- Hands-on experience across both talent acquisition and HR/labour administration
- Experience at a foreign-affiliated company preferred
- Interest in, or understanding of, the gaming/entertainment industry a plus
- Adaptable, able to operate with autonomy
- Working knowledge of Japanese labour law
